£27,000 raised for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland

WOSL Committee Member Laura Sinclair (left) handed over a cheque for £27,000 to Sammy Terry, Corporate Events Manager at SBHS. These funds were raised before or at the 2026 Lunch in April and will go towards supporting families living with this devastating condition, some of who attended the lunch.

Almost 400 women attended this year’s lunch and were inspired by three excellent speakers – Dr Margo Whiteford, Dr Gwen Adshead and Catherine Heymans. The event was superbly brought together by Guest Chair Laura Maciver.

We were delighted to welcome HRH Duchess of Edinburgh as our honoured guest, along with our speakers to the 65th Lunch. More than £27,000 was raised for the charity Endometriosis UK from the 440 women who attended and the many who supported from afar. Thank you for all your support.
