Almost 400 women attended the lunch and were inspired by three excellent speakers. Dr Margo Whiteford moved the audience with the story of her remarkable life with spina bifida, followed by Dr Gwen Adshead who gave an inspiring talk on having faith in people. Lastly Catherine Heymans talked enthusiastically about women in science and astronomy. The event was superbly brought together by Guest Chair Laura Maciver.
