Our chosen charity this year is Epilepsy Research UK which is a wonderful charity that deserves our support and is dedicated to driving and enabling life-changing, life-saving research into epilepsy. 1 in every 100 people live with epilepsy, a third of which cannot control their seizures with anti-epileptic drugs. Shockingly, there are 21 epilepsy-related deaths every week in the UK. This year’s lunch will raise funds for neurodevelopment in childhood-onset epilepsies and in children of women with epilepsy.
